I create dances with a contemporary language and dance techniques. I like the process of exploration of movement with the dancers, who are always flexible to change and twist ideas while the work is developing. A puzzle choreographic format is always my tendency, in which I work small pieces of it and then put them all together in the end. I enjoy collaborating with technology and trying new things. While I appreciate the magic that theatrical productions can conjure, I also want to promote public places and more interactive art.

Advocate of the 'ecology of culture' perspective, where there is an unavoidable responsibility to think about which and how the community is benefiting from every action or creation and what and how we as artists are actively creating access to it and building a relationship with the audience, without neglecting the boundaries planet earth is signaling us. Everything and everyone was, is, and will be connected and affected by our overall actions.

Art and culture are a communication channel for my voice, feelings, and perspectives on my learning journey as a woman, Mexican, community member, immigrant, and mother. Avid learner and explorer through dance movement, choreography, and the new. Passionate about portraying and communicating through dance and performance to the community, absorbing and producing connections with the hope that it will resonate beyond one moment.
