This body of work is the subjective manner of women to be understood as privileged in modern society. As our culture is in a state of chaos, these paintings are used to showcase the rocky road of women in their twenties. These paintings take imaginative environments and showcase them as a performance. To make the situation feel less real and more vulnerable, the subjects are placed in front of a backdrop, as if they’re on stage. In spite of the nakedness that a spotlight furnishes, the bodies are revealed with little to no clothing. The physical layout of the composition deals with multiple of the same figure, portraying movement on one; to a single figure, with animals to symbolize their inner emotions. Each environment exemplifies a struggle or disaster, that has been caused or internalized by the subject.
The series is combined of multiple women with no heads and expressionless faces, this allows for the viewer to disconnect and to put themselves in the position of the subject. I want to people to connect to the painting even if it’s not applicable to themselves.

Lost with No Direction

Lost with No Direction' (2022) poses a moment of disbelief in crisis. The subject is left stranded, drunk, and shaken within a hot deserted desert. The Panthers in the background linger in her presence as they mimic the three voices in her head. One escaping from the car, the other stopped in its tracks with no intentions to seek help, and the last to leave the situation. Will she leave or stay?
