Taijasi is an independent artist and often bases her work on social paradoxes and cultural instabilities; but her recent artworks have focused inwardly on the manifestation of self - in an attempt to navigate the many currents of a mind in a ceaseless flux.

Depicting emotions, fears, uncertainty, conflict on the one hand and maturity, stability, peace and tranquility on the other.

She works in all media mostly watercolour, acrylic,
oil, pastels as well as unconventional traditional
media like tea, coffee, clay, natural vegetable dyes, etc.

Taijasi has emerged as a sensitive artist who specializes not only in portraits but also in highlighting women issues and discussions surrounding mental health.

She is also an excellent photographer and has directed many videos as well as part of her journey.

She started to paint at the age of 3 and her focus has remained unwavered. She has been growing from strength to strength ever since. She also is emerging as a thought provoking poet and writer who highlights the feelings behind her work in her musings.

She graduated in Fine Arts from Goldsmith’s, University of London, UK in 2017 and completed her Masters in Contemporary Art with a Merit from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London in 2020. Her dissertation for her MA was based on the need for a paradigm shift in the pedagogy of Art education in India.

She has 4 years of work experience having taught art to students with learning disabilities at Four Steps NGO (Kailash colony, New Delhi July 2017- April 2018) and Very Specials Arts India (Vasant Kunj, New Delhi January 2018 - April 2018). Further, she conducted a 4-day art workshop at Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya, Gwalior (April 2018)

She then continued her teaching career by being appointed at Learning Lighthouse, a homeschooling center in New Delhi, offline (2019) and then online post covid from 2020 to date.

She has several exhibitions and projects to her credit, in India as well as in London.
