The Ecocalypse - Human Creation at it's Best and Worst

This artwork was created as a result of global events relating to ecology, economy, and fashion/social trends.
Our world is slowly dying by the hand of humanity, but we are still observing glamour and beauty, and we are hypnotized by it, even though
people are on the verge of poverty.
The glamour of the public scene distracts from what's really going on behind the scenes. Our planet is dying, and so are our socioeconomic systems.
There needs to be an effort made not to focus on her dress, which reflects luxury and purity. No matter how long we gaze at her, her dress and beauty won't save the day. Or maybe it will? Beauty intoxicates us more often than not, especially if beauty is a part of spiritual expression and a symbol of morality. She is also a human, wearing a man-made dress. So, this kind of beauty is also created by the hand of humanity.
Humans should keep their place in a world of beauty, but they should also leave enough room for nature to express itself. Humans cannot create, or live, without nature.
For the purpose of this project, I used vintage fashion from the 1930s -1950s, because I, in my humble and subjective opinion, believe it was the Golden age of fashion. She is also wearing a burlesque-like dress because she is putting on a show for everyone. She is on the stage, admired by the viewers. This artwork is created with a traditional approach using a modern medium, resulting in a digital painting.
Living in a poor and corrupt country myself, everywhere I look, I see famous women depicted as something unreachable and luxurious, even though they do not possess any additional qualities that are relevant to the community or state. Beauty, makeup, and false trend of living rich life became a social standard, which is killing young people's social development.
