Fionnuala is a Belfast-based artist with a background in documentary and visual arts. Recently, she produced a short documentary with BBC Gaeilge on women's sexuality and well-being. Fionnuala was also a selected participant in the 25th Ji.Hlava Academy, where she worked under the guidance of esteemed experimental director Khavn De La Cruz. Her experimental film ‘text me when your’e gone’ was screened at numerous film festivals, including Oberhausen Film Festival, Indie Cork, and Catalyst International Film Festival.

Fionnuala has contributed to various international productions, including a short drama funded by the BFI and filmed in Nairobi, Kenya, and an Irish-French co-production called 'The Flats' filmed in North Belfast. Her latest project, 'Cá a nDeachaigh Mé', a 16mm film visual arts piece, will be exhibited at the upcoming Cathedral Arts Quarter Festival in May 2023 in Belfast and the Earagail Arts Festival in Co. Donegal in July 2023.
