While travelling, working and studying far away from our home i forgot about doing art and the joy that comes with it. I was so into experiencing everything around my, i had no time to look at a painting, always checking the horizon and where i might go next. After that long and intense time with endless input i returned home and started my own company next to running our family business, a health care center. With immense amounts of work to be done until the final realisation i was usually smashed in the evening by all the weights to lift and talks with customers. Living all together in a more generation house demands to create time and space for yourself. During my university time, discussing climate change all day and then working in a factory filling containers on a daily basis with leftovers, confused me. As a proactive and simple "lets do this" village guy i just asked the factory owner to fill my car with leftovers, he laughed and said yes. So whenever you need free cardboard, ask the factories and you will get it with a smile, because they simply save money and feel better. That was in 2015 and so it came to happen that i went with huge paintings on cardboard to my first exhibition in Maastricht. Since that university time i paint daily in the evening to reflect on all the impressions from my 20s and pair it with the understandings and goals for my 30s. Well, founding a company that provides ateliers, gallery space and a sound studio with a concert place sounds pretty cool but it was very though to survive the corona crisis, because half of the job is not allowed, bring people together to enjoy music and art. Nevertheless like any other human this did not stop me, instead i found creative solutions and of course used the time properly. My personal amount of creations is now above 1000 pieces but as i never painted to make sales with it, or having to show them, i just enjoy painting so much that i just keep on. Thus its unavoidable to not select and favourise some of your personal creations, so in summer 2022 i decided to show a small selection to the world and here we go, currently in Miami and Basel.Enjoy L_VE.
