Bao Mao

Bao (The Big Fat Bao) is an illustrator and designer from India whose work focuses on the intersections of caste, gender, and environment. Their research aims at redefining Indian Design education from the anticaste perspective. Building on the anticaste framework set by Dalit Bahujan Adivasi and Vimukta revolutionaries like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Jotiba and Savitrimai Phule, Bao's work encourages people to push for anticaste futures.
