(San Juan, P.R., 1985). A Puerto Rican photo-based artist who creates conceptual still-life artworks by photographing the sculptural installations and props that she crafts. Her productions are motivated by her desire to provide works of art that remind people of the significance and importance of life’s reflections. Her photography work can be characterized as constructed, staged, and stylized, with an unrelenting pursuit of detail.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Photography, from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. Additionally, she completed a photography workshop in Madrid, Spain, in 2020. She has showcased her work in both collective and solo exhibitions in Puerto Rico, the USA, and Europe. In 2016, her work received an Honorable Mention in the Portrait and Fine Art categories at the International Photography Awards. Her artwork has been featured in the Puerto Rican Museum of Contemporary Art auction and publications such as The Washington Post and Forbes. Furthermore, her art has found a place in private collections in Puerto Rico, the USA, and Germany, as well as in an Art Institution in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
