Kare' Williams is an African American artist from southeast Washington DC. His work explores what he calls the ordinary. The ordinary can be anything from a flower on the ground that is just walked past to a pretty landscape in Florida. He combines these ideas and creates fictional settings to place the figure. The composition then becomes these imaginary worlds were the sky is the limit. Each part of the piece becomes an extension of his imagination, from the colorful clouds to the block like trees.
