My work ranges from fantastic and fashionable to dark and suggestive.
I seek to arouse, amuse and surprise in equal measure.
My art began in fashion, but branched out from squeaky clean editorial spreads and runway chic to seek out opera houses, crumbling theatres, brothels and fairytale forests.
I seek a femininity that is open and raw as an opium poppy but keeps grace and poise with Victorian formality. Ultimately, I enjoy contrast. The more jarring, the better.
My chaotic temperament makes itself known in my art and I work quickly and spontaneously, often making a lot of mess in the process.
I strive to keep a lightness of touch that allows me to explore challenging subject matter with whimsy and humour whilst avoiding worthiness.
