Solomon Ayoola Popoola

Solomon Popoola is a literary artist turned visual artist. He studied English and Literary Studies in his first degree and currently a Postgraduate student, in the department of Creative Arts, University of Lagos. He transferred his creative mind as a literary artist to his now found passion for visual art. This experience is evident in his composition and representation of ides in art. Predominantly he works with mixed media. His works are inspired by the world around him. He approach each piece as an opportunity to explore new techniques and push his creative limits. Solomon's work often deals with themes that awakes social consciousness to the state of the society and the concern of the masses, using vibrant colours and dynamic composition to convey a sense of reawakening for positive change in the society.
