At the age of 9 Sahar Efremova-Baghayeri takes free classes at the Ferdowsi University of Art, becoming its youngest student and an apprentee of Master A. Seydani. She was inspired by her sister, who was studying graphic design in Sooreh Art School. First art show made for fun at the age of 11 brings first capital, as a travelling couple decides to buy some of her works. The funds are enough to start an own gallery… of 40 m2 in the basement of the neighbours’ house in Neyshaboor, the City founded in 5500 B.C., the City of Civilization, History and Culture in the deserts of Persia… that will then play a crucial role in coining Sahar’s unique artistic style and sensible perception…

The Peacock’s Burden A patient man, hands full, faces his wife, styled with a peacock feather yet shadowed by melancholy. Around them, a warm, earthen palette underscores a silent emotional interplay.
