“For me, painting is a way to forget life. It is a cry in the night, a strangled laugh.” Georges

Rouault

My first biggest decision that set the path for my career was choosing a Bachelor’s Degree inpharmacy from Allana college of Pharmacy (Pune University) as my field of study. I pursueda Master’s degree in Quality Assurance from the previously mentioned college. I havecompleted two project works throughout the curriculum of my Bachelor’s and Masters inpharmacy. After completing my masters in pharmacy, I started working at Afifa Life SciencePvt. Ltd, as a Marketing Executive. Working with the same organizations for over 2.5 yearsexposed me to other aspects of operations within a company. As I learnt more about mywork, I found myself getting engrossed in the strategies applied in marketing and relationshipdevelopment. After that, I started working as a pharmacist in Bhailal Amin general hospital.Where, I learn the role of pharmacist in depth. Much of my career has been spent in hospitalpharmacy. I am an extrovert and helping people has always been my passion which allowspatients to feel comfortable talking to me about their medications. My work to date hasprovided the degree of satisfaction and reward that I initially sought from a career. However, over the years that I have been a pharmacist, I put my heart and soul into making sure that thebasic medical facilities are accessible to all the common masses in critical COVID times.Working 14 hours a day and seeing people suffer made me question the existence of entiremankind. I witnessed the ill effects of COVID on the mental health of almost everyone Iknew. The stress, the anxiety and the depression people have gone through during thesetesting times have made me think a lot. The solution to all these problems is a diversion tomake people feel good about them. I found my peace in painting, sketching and murals. It didnot just make me survive through those days but also made me empathetic towards others.

That is my ultimate goal in life. To be able to help someone who needs my help. To bequalified and experienced and confident enough to help a stranger, through the means that Ifound so helpful and rewarding.

Also from an early age, I have always had an inclination to paint and draw. As a teenager, Ifound that through my art I could communicate and form relationships with people whoviewed and looked at my work. I would be asked questions about what I had created and thiswould give me an opportunity to introduce them to the world of artistic expression and

explain my views.
