Cristina Fontsare is a Barcelona based artist who works on long term projects creating visual stories of universal themes such as the cycles of life, growth, metamorphosis,the ongoing transformation of self and our relationship to the natural world.Her work departs from her everyday reality and the relationship to the land she inhabits.She works with Polaroid peel apart film and analog techniques.
In her latest projects, she is working in a more experimental way, where process and chance are more important than anticipating of a result, on the most gestural, physical and material part of photography. She has been exhibited and published internationally.
