Carlyn Carla Monica Westerink

Carlyn Westerink is a painter and lithography printmaker. Her life consists of observing real and/or mystical environments that she usually establish with a pencil on paper. She approaches these environments with a socially critical and philosophical eye. With her detailed drawings she hopes to develop a new communication style to reach out to human's feelings of how we observe our world. She is aware of her western point of view so she will intertwine herself and learn more about different/difficult perspectives around the world. She is not only focussed on human culture but she also dives into our connection with all the other living creatures of the scenery we live in.
