Born in United Kingdom, I have been fascinated with colour and creating art my entire life. A never-ending journey of discovering looking for new colours, techniques and learning, has taken me around the world in search of inspiration and materials.
Primarily working in the form of sculptural mixed media painting, collage and photography, my work focuses on the relationship between the abstract colours and textures of our natural world.
Using both digital and analog processes, my work plays with different perspectives, time and reality, through composition and materiality. Shifting between otherworldly landscapes and representational forms, we become immersed into the vibrant dreamscapes layered with symbolism and organic visual patterns.
Bold, contrasting colour combinations and expressive gestures of line, are intuitively created and brought to the surface from a subconscious diary of colour and texture. Sensual memories of past experiences and encounters, are recollected through the intuitively layering and assembling materials on canvas, wood panel and paper.
