Through my work, I try to show alternative ways in which the world might function. My art is linked to concepts like Space, Time, Movement, Growth, Limits and Surfaces. I strongly believe that the relation between these concepts shows a way to the understanding of the structure of our reality. I try to answer to these dilemmas with the production of sculpture of organic surfaces in different materials, the construction of moving image devices and kinetic sculptures in different formats. I like to be involved in every level of the production of my pieces. It’s very important to me to be able to use my hands in the development of my art; working in the shop has a huge impact on the final piece. The fact that I’m so strongly involved in the processes gives the pieces an imprecise characteristic that makes them unpredictable. In many cases, the final result has little to none of what was first conceived to be, the same process of construction transforms my work until the end.
