Taraneh Mosadegh (b. 1985) is an Iranian artist based in Brooklyn. She earned her MFA at the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, and her BFA in Painting at the Art University of Tehran.
She has exhibited in Iran, India, Canada, Germany, China, and the United States, and has completed residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild, and Windy Mowing Artist Retreat. Her collaborations with international poets have appeared in Alba Culture in Translation, Fairy Tale Review, Theodora Magazine, Posit Journal, Seriealfa Magazine, Litmus Press, Bloodaxe Books, and Printed Matter, Inc.
Her work is held in the permanent collections of the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris and the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
