Paul Garner is a multi-disciplinary visual artist and musician who has spent over two decades blurring the lines between fine art, design, and physical fabrication. Armed with a BFA in Painting from the Memphis College of Art, where he graduated in 2011, Garner operates under his creative banner, Art & Artifice, acting as an aesthetic chameleon capable of tackling the most confounding creative conundrums.

Garner’s diverse practice spans painting, illustration, digital branding, and custom animation, and more. He has also fabricated props and set pieces for film and television, with his work featured in major network productions like 9-1-1 Nashville (2026) and Scarpetta (2026).

Deeply rooted in a background of grassroots community organizing, Garner’s independent work—ranges from underground comic turned rock band, Aktion Kat! to political posters for numerous causes and organizations. He frequently champions progressive organizing efforts working for systemic change. Whether executing effective branding, painting a portrait, or crafting cinematic props, Garner translates complex concepts into striking visual realities.
