Mila Gvardiol's artistic work uniquely blends traditional painting techniques with contemporary digital media. Her art is inspired by the architectural landscapes of urban environments, particularly the modernist structures found in New Belgrade. She explores geometric forms and spatial relationships within architecture, translating these elements into dynamic compositions that merge the physical and digital realms.
Throughout her career, Mila has showcased her work in 41 solo exhibitions and participated in over 300 group exhibitions. She is actively involved in art colonies and digital art festivals, and her work has been recognized and awarded multiple times.

Biography

Mila Gvardiol was born in 1979 in Belgrade. She graduated in 2004 from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Mural Painting. She earned her PhD in 2012 from the Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Department of Digital Arts. She has been a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia since 2006, and since 2011 also a member of the Association of Applied Artists and Designers of Serbia. She is currently employed as an Associate Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Digital Production in Sremska Kamenica. She has exhibited in 42 solo and around 300 group exhibitions. She participates in art colonies and digital art festivals and has received several awards for her artistic work.
