I work in two main disciplines: photography and digital art (digital collage and photomanipulation). All my photographs are intervened, although after the quarantine, with the impossibility of photographing models, I ventured into digital collage with stock images. My artistic process, in both cases, is deeply intertwined with my spirituality and my ethical and moral principles. My intention is to bring to the fore the inclusion of gender and ethnic diversities, the bodies traversed by social stigmas. I seek to highlight the inclusion of humanity in its broadest spectrum, enhancing its subjective beauty through vivid colors. I propose a reflection and a questioning of the normative ways, and I suggest another way of seeing the world through my own experience as a trans non-binary, bisexual, autistic, Latinx, and Muslim person. The particular use of color is the formal element par excellence present in all the works that inescapably reinforces my images.

Our Beach

'Our Beach', shows the corporalities of two women of color on train tracks that lead to a coast. The title evokes an invitation to appropriate space, understood as a home and as a port of arrival. With resources such as color that proposes a particular harmony, the work invites us as a whole to celebrate ethnic diversity and its visibility.
