Senior multimedia journalist and interdisciplinary creative with roughly twenty-five years of professional experience across arts, culture, and media in Portugal, Canada, and the UK. Background spans radio broadcasting, print and digital journalism, art criticism, and editorial production, alongside a parallel career in graphic design, visual branding, AI art, fine-art and experimental photography, film production, and creative direction. Being a multi-award-winning designer, having received International Design Awards (IDA) Silver and multiple Honorable Mentions between 2021 and 2023, and work is characterized by strong conceptual thinking, experimental approaches, and politically and socially engaged visual narratives.
Mine artistic practice has been recognized internationally, with works exhibited and selected through competitive open calls at institutions such as Christie’s Auction in New York, The Oculus at the World Trade Center, Awita New York Studio, and 34 Gallery as part of UN Agenda 2030 SDG 3.4 exhibitions, including multiple call-winner selections and Artist of the Year distinctions. In addition to exhibitions of my work has been featured in international publications and curatorial platforms, and I maintain an active presence across curated portfolios and professional creative networks. Collectively, my skills and accolades position me as a cross-disciplinary cultural practitioner operating at the intersection of journalism, design, contemporary art, and critical visual discourse.
