Mark Brereton – Born and raised in the ceramic city of Stoke-on-Trent in the late seventies is a photographic artist that captures photo-illustrative scenarios and environments, with an abstract style. Mark has a strong passion for dramatic visuals inspired by cinema, illustration, and graphic design. The artworks are created using a mixed media approach exploring diorama, light painting, and installation, with the final outcome being large photo art prints.
Mark started his artistic journey after graduating university in 2003 and working as a commercial Graphic Artist before combining Photo Art into his practice and artworks. Over the duration of the last ten years his artwork has started to focus on and blur the boundaries of science fiction, psychogeoraphy, and astronomy themes.
