ciber_org investigates the construction of identity in the 21st century, operating through image_conceptual triangulations that skew, blur, and suspend the boundaries between real vs. virtual, online vs. offline, man vs. woman, human vs. machine. As a transmedia artist, they present works in various formats, including video art, installation, augmented reality, sculpture, and internet-connected performance. Their practice emerges from the interstice between their lived experience as a sex-gender dissident body and their previous background as a programmer and data engineer. In a ubiquitous_connected and hyper_fragmented world shaped by everyday technologies, ciber_org embraces hybridity as an artistic-conceptual strategy to fabulate new possibilities of bodies and worlds.
They hold a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from UFMG and are a master’s student in Contemporary Artistic Processes at UDESC. ciber_org is a transmasculine person.
